Victory Through the Holy Spirit

A gift still in its box
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Yet many sincere believers live with a quiet sense of defeat: the same struggles keep coming back, prayer feels dry, and joy seems far away.
If that is you, please hear this: you are not a failure, and God is not disappointed in you. Often the problem is not a lack of love for God. It is that a few gifts He has already given us were never fully unpacked, like a present still in its box.

- Do I belong to a church where people know me, pray for me, and where I can serve?
- Which side am I feeding most each day: the new life, or the old habits?
- When the Bible and my feelings disagree, which one usually wins?
- Do I ask the Holy Spirit to fill me and guide me each day?
- Who are the people God has placed around me who do not yet know Him?
Victory is not a feeling, and it is not the result of trying harder. It is Jesus living in you by His Holy Spirit. Start with the one area where you feel most stuck.
